METRON 2X-AC-L is a dual-axis Alignment System and electronic level designed for vertical presses and CNC machine tools. It measures table parallelism and dynamic peak inclination in less than 15 minutes, with 0.01 mm/m resolution, helping reduce mold setup time by up to 50%.

Description
Alignment System
The METRON 2X-AC-L instrument allows to measure the parallelism of the machine tables.
First, measure the inclination of the mold holder at 4 or 6 clean, scratch-free points.
Then 4 or 6 points on the lower surface of the moving plate are measured, obtaining the Parallelism Deviation of the two planes.
The result is expressed as an angle and/or inclination in mm/m (in/m).

Electronic Level
In Electronic Level mode, it can be used as:
- Absolute Level.
- Relative Level.
- 90° Squareness Level.
- 180° Flipped Level for measuring the top
of the movable tables (rams) of presses.
2-axis XY electronic level function with 0.01 mm/m (0.0004 in/m ) resolution.
Measures horizontal planes and perpendicularity of an axis (Z) to the plane.
Absolute and Relative Continuous inclination measurement for ±75° in normal use, and for ±5° when flipped 180°.
Dynamic Angle Meter
The METRON 2X-AC-L instrument allows to measure the Peak Inclination during the machining process , obtaining useful information for the optimal tuning of progressive dies.
Above is the graph recorded during 3 machine cycles. The values obtained reveal that the moving table tilts when it reaches the mold surface and is no longer parallel to the mold plane. The operator can then adjust the molds and restore optimal parallelism.
